Mohamed Alaoui is the founder and managing director of ACS. He offers more than 25 years of international experience managing a variety of projects in climate change, sustainable energy, environmental impact assessments, and climate finance. His recent projects consist of directing a team of engineers to provide technical assistance to International Financial Institutions in the development of sustainable energy technologies in the MENA region. Before launching ACS, M. Alaoui worked at Applied Materials in California developing technologies and processes in the green energy field such as thin film solar.

Ayoub is currently managing the ACS office in Tunisia and is an accomplished professional in energy management and auditing, mining and mineral processing, water management, renewable energies and sustainable finance. He is a Tunisian national with an engineering degree from Monastir Engineering School, a certified PMP and ISO 50001 auditor as well as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). He is the founder and President of the Association of Energy Engineers of Tunisia.
Hiba joined Africa Climate Solutions in 2014 when it was known under the name of Transcarbon as a senior project manager. She successfully led projects in waste management, environmental impact, energy efficiency, and renewable energy for clients such as UNEP, OCP, and GIZ. As Director of Operations, she oversees the project portfolio, business development and office management. She graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and obtained her PMP certification in June 2012 from the Project Management Institute and is currently pursuing an EMBA from the Mohamed VI Polytechnic University’s joint program with Columbia University. She is fluent in French, English and Arabic and has business proficiency in Spanish.

Yassine works as the Energy Manager at ACS. He has a solid background in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Since joining ACS, he has conducted numerous strategic studies, feasibility studies in the energy sector, and project assessment for financing programs. Before joining ACS, Yassine was a project manager in sustainable finance at the Bank of Africa (BoA) and was responsible for various energy-related projects such as the development of a 200 MW wind project in Tangier, financed by GREEN BOND. He holds an Engineering Degree from the National School of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree from the University of Castilla-la Mancha in Spain. He is fluent in French, English and Arabic.

Zaineb Kouzibri joined ACS as a Project Engineer, with profound interest in environment and climate change. She has experience in carbon footprint calculations, environmental impact assessment and waste management. Zaineb earned a master’s degree in Environmental Management from Science and Technology Faculty Mohamedia and speaks Arabic, French and English fluently.

Hamza joined ACS as a project engineer where he contributes to a wide range of environmental and energy projects. He has worked on technology assessment for financing facilities and environmental feasibility studies. Hamza has been able to develop strong analytical skills in energy regulation and standards of vital sectors (Agriculture, Energy logistics, Transport). Hamza holds an engineering degree in Process, Energy and Environment from National School of Applied Science in Agadir.

Bouble-Wendé Arnaud Ouedraogo is a Project Engineer who graduated from the National School of Applied Science of Al Hoceima with an engineering degree in water and environment. He has solid skills in various software used for design. Bouble-Wendé has experience with waste, water treatment and solar technologies. He is fluent in Bambara, French and English.
